Inspired by memory and emotion, Andy’s designs capture a sense of aching nostalgia that is counterpointed by a feeling of unapologetic joy and wonderment. From the neon euphoric rush of being in the city to briny, windswept holidays by the seaside, his illustrations are often abstracted assemblages from personal experiences, designed to invoke an emotional response from the viewer. Experienced in a wide range of design disciplines, he has worked with many high profile names including American Express, Imogen Heap, Shortlist, CoolBrands and Advanced Photoshop Magazine. His work has been exhibited in galleries across the world as well as influential websites such as Adweek and Creative Bloq.With a background in architecture, Andy’s attention to detail is meticulous, both in the physical process of designing but also in his formulation of concepts. A great deal of research goes into all of his designs to ensure that they are not only beautiful but also meaningful, giving all his projects an added level of creativity as well as depth and resonance, which not only fulfils the brief but exceeds it.
