What happens when you are so sad that you lose your heart? Penelope the fox loses a friend who goes away, and so loses her heart. As it drops into the sea, an adventure starts as Penelope tries to reclaim her emotional core. Snatched by a dolphin as she chases, a seagull then takes her heart so she’s always one step behind. Even a guarded palace keeps her heart from her. Penelope ends up in the city (with London buses!) and finally meets a new friend who may know where her heart has ended up. But Penelope has to make a sacrifice to save her new friend from danger.
