Exhibition opens 3 – 24 December 2010?Conference 3 December 2010
Drawing can be used in a number of ways and settings. From a pictogram that transcends language barriers, a visualisation of topography, an emotional response to words or thoughts and as a formal means of communication – working drawings are the (sometimes instant) solution to many problems. The exhibition includes drawings by Neasden Control Centre, Jill Calder, Roderick Mills, Ken Garland, Ed Fella, Abram Games, Alan Fletcher, Milton Glaser, David Hughes, Freda Sack, Fraser Muggeridge, Saul Steinberg, Jason Ford, Mark Todd, Morag Myerscough, Lee Ford, Frazer Hudson, Simon Spilsbury, Catherine Dixon, Mick Marston, Margaret Huber, Jo Hassall, Richard Hollis, Rodger Bateman and Third Angel Theatre Company.
The one-day conference will invite theorists, visual communicators and designers to discuss drawing practice as part of a methodology for articulating and exploring thoughts, ideas and concepts.
